Every year, people by the millions flock the northern province of Japan, Hokkaido for their annual Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival in Japanese). I happened to be among those who attended this year’s 60th celebration of the festival. Priceless experience, I must say!
The festival is held in the main city of Hokkaido, Sapporo. For those of you who don’t know where Sapporo is (or where Hokkaido is, for that matter), it’s here:
